Found in Italy
Rusty water is sippering between the keel and the hull
The teak deck has to be relaid
The hard top ceiling has to be changed
The companionway was leaking
The hatches are being replaced
All through-hulls have to be changed
Just arrived in Ellös, Orust
With the right tools and experience, even the hardest glue has to give in
The old teak deck is now completely stripped off
The galley is waiting for a new stove, a new sink, new water taps and a new worktop, etc.
The pieces around the stansions have been cut out by hand
The screws between the ribbons are removed later and do not destroy the teak
Carl checking the vacuum to the new vacuum-glued teak deck
Continous vacuum is crucial
The entire deck is almost ready
The engine is lifted out. It was very well maintained and needed just a service.
The engine room almost ready. A generator, red, is installed as well as a sauna unit, white.
The reconditioned ceiling. It is incredible what can be done when professionally refurbishing a boat.
Time for sanding. Not the most comfortable mode of operation
The refurbished Regina Laska under full sails in her right element
